This case actually works out the same as the $200 nvidia case, $199 and $29 to ship...

This one is $229 free shipping..

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-236-_-Product

but it's neon green... of course, it is your computer. I personally own an Element S, and while it's nice I liked my Antec 300 case much better for ~$125 less. I would not put over $120 into a case again. Unless there was something special about it like it cooked and served you breakfast in bed. You know, something like that lol. Otherwise, you do have to consider it's just a hunk of metal...

He hasnt built a computer in awhile and i dont think he is quite ready to make that jump right now, I think the prebuilt is actually best for his current predicament.

Plus...I don't think you can get all the parts from newegg as cheaply as they are coming from Cyberpower...?

Yes. Keep in mind those prices for the components are upgrades, the price difference they're charging between what you want and what the base model uses. I guarantee the price difference is greater than it is between the two parts on newegg, and that the base model parts were already significantly marked up. In addition, cyberpower will always use the parts from the lowest bidder, so quality isn't exactly assured. Upgrades are scary when using the cheapest power supply they could find for instance.

Just build your own, you WILL save money, especially in the long run, and even if you were to find it was more expensive, I guarantee the experience and the knowledge you gain in the process would have been worth the difference. It's a lot easier to diagnose some minor problem in the computer when you put it together, and know what everything is, and how it all fits together.

He is building his own, he waffled for a bit but decided on a custom home built ;)

I read the thread from OP to end, then wrote a response consisting of a couple of paragraphs. His post stating he was going to build his own in the end came 11 minutes before my post. Do you see how that could have happened? ;)
