My Roxio EMC 7.0 thoughts and reactions

Some first thoughts:

1. Takes forever to install

2. The apps I loaded took about 400 megs of space, Creator classic, Drag to Disc, Sound editor, Label creator, Media manager, disc copier, Capture tool.

3. Roxio Retrieve is improved well at least the window is sizeable now.

4. The skin sucks, it's heavy and drags on a slower computer, I would prefer XP's visual style.

5. Burns Cue/Bin images finally plus two others, .cif and .c2d

6. The drag to disc icon is kinda cool.

Well, most of us 'round here avoid Roxio like the plague...could have something to do with it

It can be buggy and it is bloated as hell but it also offers a few features that Nero does not like Roxio Retrieve. I also find Drag to Disc to be better then InCD.

Wish Nero Had a Roxio Retrieve feature, I really like it.

I gave it a few chances throughout its iterations, but I always ended up uninstalling it. Always Nero here.

Being a dyed in the wool nero guy, left Roxio with the 4.x problem, I'm uneasy but- will creator 7 live on a machine with nero installed?
