My first roommate in college had a full scholarship, including $1500 per semester in Food from the campus food bars :Q....He was too fsking lazy to walk 800 feet to get it for FREE! So he ate my food (what little I could afford then)...Finally, after complaining to him for 2 months, he let me take his card and buy both of us all the food we could eat! Still, the nerve to be too lazy when he had $1500 to blow (for free!!! :|)
Introduce him to Mr. e coli. Smear some feces on a slim jim. Scrub the toilet with his toothbrush.
Actually, just let him know your food is not community property and he shouldn't presume it's your responsibilty to support his food habit.

NSF4, aren't you going to do something about it? People gave all kind of advices, now it's time for action!
Easiest method, if he is a good guy, tell him that he needs to get his own food. Tell him you can't afford o be buying his food, and if he doesn't buy his own, you won't be able to pay the other stuff you have to pay.
Do you take chemistry??? Get to be friends with a TA & get some phenolthaylean (sp?) and slip it into his drink. He will be peeing hot pink pee all day

Make a panfull of brownies. Use a bunch (half a cup or so) of chocolate exlax laxitive as that special seasoning in the mix (mix it in really well). Leave them sitting on the counter. Leave for a day or so. When you come back and half the pan is gone be appoligetic and metion to him that you made them as a practical joke you were going to play on someone, and that eating your food without asking has caused this to happen. He will probably ask after that, if not, start spiking lots of stuff with exlax.
well there is some stuff you can by to make babies throw up. I forget what it is called, but you can get it over the counter at any drugstore. Epicap (?) syrup or something. But put a few drops in a bottle of cola and I guaruntee he will stay away from your stuff for a while.

I suggest buying chocolate elax and somehow mixing it with some of your roommate's "favorite" items of yours. It is safer than poison, but has more impact. At least your roommate doesn't do what mine does: He leaves jars of salsa and other items out till they mold and turn fuzzy. Yum.

Exlax is too subtle. Go for the other end -- use IPECAC and make him vomit when he eats something spiked.
Of course, you may want to cover your side of the room in plastic first.
