I hate the way people throw the word "Love" around, it has really lost its meaning. He may think he's in love with her because they've 'clicked' over the phone and online, but that's a long shot from what can really happen when they meet face to face. I wish your friend didn't have such high expectations, he might be truly disappointed. But then again, "live and learn."

If you are looking for love, would you recognize it if you found it?
Can you tell the difference between love and infatuation?
Between love and attraction?
Between love and sexual desire?
Between love and friendship?
Between sex and intimacy?
Between a good relationship and one that is only pleasurable

I know. There is no way you can really love someone you know over the internet. I don't care what he says, even if I "have no clue"...you just can't.

Why dont you cut him some slack..let him meet her or whatever ..when you were having girl problems with your ex im sure they said the same thing:...man deeko just moping around, man just dump her ur crazy, let her go , get out meet more girls...etc.

Im sure you you didnt care what they said and wish they would be more understanding...

Yea, cept that was my girlfriend of a year, that I knew physically, etc. A little different than some girl you met from halfway across the country online that you've known for a week.

Very true. Except if you've never experienced what your friend is, you can't really knock it.

Like I said to him....my situation with my ex WAS similar to his. I met her through text messaging, she messaged the wrong number(me) and I was bored so I talked to her anyway. What's the difference? We lived 5 miles apart, not 1000, and I certainly wasn't telling her that I loved her a week after talking to her over my cell phone.

You do have a point there. BTW you never answered me, does she live in Salyersville? :)

Or for an added bonus a raging case of Krotch Krickets ;)

actually, yes.

Ouch, you'll be stuck with him as your roommate for how long? A year?

Here's a possible scenario when you guys move in:

**01:00 AM in the morning**
**He knocking on your door**

Deeko: Whaaaatt....
CityPu$$y: My online girlfriend just broke up with me, and I'm scared to down the dark hallway. Can you escort me to the bathroom while trying to comfort this broken heart?

haha, yes a full year, its an apartment with 4 guys....if he can walk across the living room to my room, going past the bathroom....he'd better be able to get to the bathroom :p

Well, he probably has an alternative purpose. Better watch your back when you are walking in front of him :p

I personally don't hold much in these internet romances....yeah some work...but on the whole they are not a great idea, I have seen trouble caused by them with a couple of mates.

Hey, why don't we just never meet....just do everything on the net....scary future....hmmm....plausale future!
