My roommate can't access my computer through the LAN. It prompts him for a password, but I have no idea where I'm supposed to set one. It doesn't prompt him on any of the folders or anything, because he can't get that far. It prompts for a password when he double clicks on my computer's name. I'm running Win2000 and he was Win98. I can see his computer and browse throught it etc. I gave him a guest account on my computer, but still no go. Any ideas?

edit: Also, how do I change my bindings? It seems like everything is bound to everything else right now.

Setup an account on your win2k machine with your roommate's login name and password (the username and password he uses to login to Win98, must be exactly the same).

You could also just enable "guest" and assign him a password. This will also keep him out of "sensitive" areas if you need to.
