Actually the point is that you're complaining of stereotyping as a brown dude while representing yourself as "Inspector Jihad". You can't exactly complain about the one thing and then go on to typecast yourself with a race or culture with your very name. If you want to be viewed as an individual, start by identifying yourself as one. In any case you have no room to complain.

The reason all, or most, bathrooms in India don't have drain holes is the crushing poverty. You can't have a drain hole in your bathroom if your bathroom consists of a hole in the ground or a bucket you dump in the Ganges River.

As we have repeatedly seen on this forum, the hive mind tendency comes into the case of anyone anywhere else in the world lightly mocking any situation that is somehow involving India or Indians in any form.

Many Indians on this forum have shown that they are incapable of breaking away from the hive mind tendency. This tendency would be fairly similar to Americans refusing to admit that obesity in America is wrong and bad and refuse to lightly mock it. But they do. Indians can learn from this.

This roommate made a stupid mistake. End of story. It doesn't mean all Indians are stupid. It doesn't mean most Indians are stupid. Just this one Indian fellow.
