I used to have roadrunner, but disconnected it about 2 months ago. The thing is I just emailed my old account and I still get email from it. Does this mean that if I buy a modem that roadrunner uses ill get free access if i hook it up?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:Q:)

I had Mediaone at 2 different locations about 2.5 years ago here in Fresno. Both email addresses, and my small website on people.we.mediaone.net were still active up until At&t switched mediaone.net over to attbi.com a few months ago. I wouldn't be surprised if you hooked it up using your NIC that is registered with them, that it would work :)

I think it has to be the same modem that you registered with them. They have the MAC address of the modem (hardware address), so I would think you'd have to use the same one.

Frequently, alumni email boxes are kept open. That's a typical practice for most colleges. :)

What the heck is UT?

Yeah, each network device has its own MAC address.

UT is University of Texas (or sometimes, Unreal Tournament :)).
