Well, after reading so much against Fram and how bad those filters are, I decided to change my oil and use a non Fram filter.
I went for an AC/Delco filter (GM car) and Castrol GTX oil.
Well, 2 months and 7000 miles went by and I changed my oil yesterday. From what I saw the oil held up much better then the Wal Mart brand SuperTec I had been using for the past 7 years. The liquid was still flowing very well and it did not have the thick consistancy I am used to seeing when I change my oil. I wonder if this had more to do with the better filter or the better oil...
So, I think I will be staying away from Fram from now on and going for non generic oil as well.
