Ok guys i recently did a lot of research on spyware programs and the such. I wanted a very good anti-spyware program that almost worked like a anti-virus program. It had auto update feature. It caught spyware when it first got put on your computer just not when you scan. As we all know anti-spyware seems to be lacking compared to anti-virus. People seem to use multiple anti-spyware programs on their computer which is just a pain and to find the spyware you have to scan your computer every so often. Most anti-virus programs spyware scanners suck. I have PC-Cillin 2005, Zonealarm, Norton Coporate 10 (actually the best anti-spyware out of the virus scanners) and they pretty much suck. I pretty much laid out my choiced to three that were recommened: Auluria SpyWare eliminator, Spyware doctor 3.5, and Webroot Spy Sweeper 4.5. I tried Aulria first nad though it sucked. I then tried both Spyware doctor 3.5 and Webroot Spy Sweeper 4.5. Both i thought were good but spy sweeper seem slower and to put a bigger drag on the system than Spyware doctor. So i went and bought Spyware doctor on ebay for 23.95.
Well to sum it all up i have been using it for a few days and boy i am glad i chose this program. Its very cool. Kind of strange before i did my research i never heard of it before. It will actually delete tracking cookings as they are created on your computer. No need to wait for a scan for it to delete them. It does it in real time just like it should. I have tested it on some sites that i knew had heavy spyware ridden webpages and it did an awesome job. For anyone wanting 1 very good spyware program i think this is the one to get.
I imagine some people are going why pay for a anti-spyware program when there are ok programs for free. Well because i don't want to maintain multiple programs and i don't want to have to "scan" my pc to find spyware. Yes teatimer with S&D 1.4 will stop some spyware from installing but its not nearly up to the level that spyware doctor is. See if it stops tracking cookies. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy it again. I don't mind paying money for a program like this. It feel just this program without anything extra will do a great job of stopping spyware without the additional need of extra programs.
One note: THe thing that might turn some poeple off with spyware doctor 3.5 is their trial will only find spyware and not remove it. YOu can't remove until until you buy it. Yes i think they should have at least removed spyware for a trial peroid but the program only finds it unfortunatly but im still happy with my purchase.
