I'd have to get the manual box of course, so i'd be stuck at the GXL Tdiesel spec level for starters, then just add options until my bank account could take no more ;)

I intend to own one of these, either new or close to new, in the next 5-10 years, of course things like a house (mortgage) will be the first priority for us. My gf wants a new MX-5 in about the same timeframe ;)

What's your 'realistic' dream car ATOT?

probably early 2003 BA XR6 Falcon.....would be a tight squeeze but I could fit my finances around it.

Although if the missus would let me get one I could easily afford a low kay, Nissian skyline GTR R-32, they can be had for under AU$25K now and there are plenty of them about :D

Is that actually "realistic" as the OP asked? Of course I would love a McLaren or a Lamborghini Murcielago

"Realistic" is a relative term... what may be for one, might not be for another. If I could afford it, I'd have it by now but I also can't rule it out as unrealistic.

Point taken...I'm looking for cars in the next few years

But then again I would like to have any of these!

Latest model of Porsche 911 Turbo. If I had the money, I would buy one each time they come out w/ a new version.

Yeah, same here. Mine is listed at #10?!? Sacrilege! What's funny though, is that the 8000-pound Maybach can outrun a Corvette. (Not Z06, obviously)

Any 4dr hybrid car. Though it would be nice to own another mustang some day (had a '64), even though I'd hardly ever drive it.
