These things are HEAVY!! Probably will weigh more than your 2 year old. But, my girl loved the thing -- for about 1 week, which is about her average.

I think I may have been talking about a different doll. Reading the description for this one, it doesn't sound the same. The one I bought crawls at first and then learns to walk on its own and also grows in height over time. Its vocabulary also grows over time as well and can respond to the users voice.

 
The feedback looks pretty good on the KB site as well. I ordered this and the barbie swan lake doll for my daughter. Got $5 off coupon from your favorite coupon site and a $15 gift card from KB for ordering the barbie doll. Less then $8 shipping isn't bad at all, especially to Alaska!
