Ratings are meaningless. Many people will randomly give you a 1, just for the heck of it. Not that I care anyway, but I have mine turned off.

Just turn the rating option off for your profile. It will do wonders for your self-esteem. When I started getting low ratings, I felt bummed. By turning the option off, I feel much, much better.
