My quarantine EP project

Platypus

Lifer
As I have had some forced time at home, I wanted to channel the energy from all this chaos into something productive. I am putting together an EP to capture the experience and I have enough songs in it now that I feel I can share it out. It's a work in progress, so I will continue to add tracks to the bandcamp page over time:

Style wise it's a decent departure from my current band (remember live music? http://flyingpotion.com ), this stuff is a lot more ambient, ethereal, chill wave, dark and moody.

Starter track: "empty beaches" or my newest, "patience"

I hope you enjoy it, or don't, that's cool too 😉

I can't help but wait for some heavy guitars to come crashing in on empty beaches 😀

Hah, I had considered that too actually, but I need to restring the guitar I'd want to use on it. Maybe a remix in the future 😉
Thanks for checking it out

I do love the idea of channeling positive energy into a craft of sorts,i feel music is very important for ones spirituality and well you get a thumbs up from me.

I found myself new things too that i value and got into. Maybe the one good thing to come from Covid. Always a positive out of a negative if you look hard enough, thanks for making the world a bit better with your music!

Edit: heard all the tracks, all sounded quite good but Empty beaches my favorite.

I like that a lot. Spoken word pieces with music are interesting. Reminds me a little of Nikki Grace Experience, but with Pink Floyd atmospherics.
