Problem: When ever I have Hyperthreading enabled, my system randomly crashes when playing Counterstrike. When I have Hyperthreading disabled, my system runs fine. I get the blue screen when I crash with the error message, driver_irql_not_less_or_equal. Does anybody know how I can fix this???

Things I have tried:
1. Reformat
2. Update all driver's and chipsets
3. Replace few parts (HD, CD Drive, Case, PSU)

System Specs:
Asus P4PE-AL with 1005 final
Intel P4 3.06 with Thermaltake Spark7* combined with AS3
Western Digital 60gb 7200 RPM HD
TDK 52x24x48 CDRW
Kingston 512 DDR PC2700 @ 333mhz max
Thermaltake Xaser 3 2000a w/ 7 fans & Hardcano (Premodded)
Kingwing 450 Watt PSU with 4 Fans*

*Spark7 @ 6500 rpm, PSU @ Max RPM

Temperature:
Bios reads: 55c Idle, 60-65c Load
Hardcano reads: 32-36 Idle, 37-43 Load

This computer was assembled around January and has been getting troubleshooted/fixed ever since.

You are using XP correct? The error is usually caused by faulty drivers or system services, do you have the latest MS driver for your processor?

Sorry for not checking up on this for a while, forgot I even had this. Anyhow, DAPUNISHER I am updated fully on every driver for every hardware/software in my box. I have the latest Service Pack from MS and keep up to date on all other stuff. Also, I have updated my INF Chipset drivers and BIOS verisions to the latest one. SIRFERGY I am using the onboard audio provided on this motherboard. It is from SoundMax and has an output of 6 channels I believe. When I enable Hyperthreading, my sound gets weird also. Sometimes it will stop working and I cant get it back unless I restart the application.

Do you have Plug and Play O/S set to yes in the BIOS? Someone else had similar problems to yours and changing the BIOS seemed to cure the problem.

Yes, I believe I have it enabled in my BIOS. I will check for sure when I get home from school today.
