My problem with Shakespeare

Now, I'm a literary hobbyist, and I have the utmost respect for his linguistic abilities, but I have a problem with his texts: In so many of them, the catalyst for the drama is some silly, stupid mistake. Granted, that is not the focus nor the gist of his plays, and is in fact a mechanism he often uses, but it rubs me the wrong way, and it's a small peeve in otherwise impressive works.

I find them rather parallel with everyday life on some levels.

It's irrelevant.

I'm guessing you're looking for something to dislike, if you know what I mean.

Sure there are mistakes and inadequacies in Shakespeare, that makes them palatable and more impressive in a way, I think.
