that made me laugh

"hey guys, I'm about to jump out a window and kill myself, but check out the sweet plane that crashed 20 feet away from me and trapped me inside this raging fire!!!" <insert picture of destroyed plane here>

I predict that one can take a picture of anything and it will automatically get posted on an internet forum, where you can access from cell phones as well as computers.

Just imagine a world where everybody was so connected it even helped change events!

Or on that plane being hijacked... we could also witness crimes and it could be instantly reported to the police on who suspects were and how crimes took place.

People would be safer, but it would also make the world a more cautious place... where every move could be instantly transmitted...

then again it would be funny just to see half of ATOT and what they did during their lives on here in picture real time format...

I'd love to see this happen, would you?

That is far from the most important technology in the next 5-10 years.

The most important upcoming personal tech is AI.
-Cars that can drive themselves, better than you can.
-A computer that you can naturally speak to, and actually understand what youre *asking*, not just transcribe a few words - I've got my money on google for this one.

Other than that, alternative energy (solar/fuel cells) and smartphones/wearable PCs that are actually intuitive (wireless non-ugly eyeglass displays, sublingual voice rec, integrated earphones, GPS, Cellular - the works) is going to be big.

I can see RFID going mainstream within the next 10 years. That will be crazy once it does...

Yeah man! maybe there will be no more hardware phone.
Every location will be able to locate your chipset which bulit-in to your card or whatever we call, will track the device by GPS and will allow you to access to the system with pre-authenticator as long as it matches your identity under certain condition, indeed.
Despite of a growing high technology, above mentioned about transmitted to the centre to make people to be cautious about what they are doing, more likely datas will be overflow to control until there are enough people got trained to run the administrative control over the main system to control. I meant this will take more than 10 years for sure, which means average people has to be knowledgable like people in this forum!

This is the only thing that matters to me.

1. Hydrogen Fuel Cells that will hopefully become mainstream.
2. Flash-based hard drives.
3. CPU's using less voltage.
4. More enviromentally safe stuff.
5. Uhh...

Hydrogen Fuel Cells are only a way to store energy the real question is where to get the energy for the Fuel Cells for our cars.
