Basically I want to run oblivion. But my graphics card isn't going to do it. It's agp and I'm stuck with it.
I have 3 options. Buy an agp card and wait for conroe/am2 to upgrade. I really wanted to upgrade a long time ago but didn't have the cash. How long is conroe coming out? If it's only 1-2 months after AM2 I might just wait.
I can just build a socket 939 system right now but the main thing is that I really want an upgrade path for the future.
If I buy the agp card which card should I get. The X1600pro? or the X800XL. I like the new features of the X1600pro but it seems to be much slower. The X800XL will run much faster but for agp is it worth it? at newegg I think it's $160-$170. It also has less featuers.
What should I do?
