Adul,
What changed? It was working before right?

Don't I recall some firewall issues for you?

Might want to try port 80 with teamanandtech proxy.
Can you ping from the proxy box?

i tried several, it work yesterday just fine, now it refuse to let my blocks goo. aybe it is netzero, dunno. I am going to try something else. Yes I can ping of the the proxies just fine and the pproxy detects the modem connection.

Adul -
your "minkeys done" entry is commented out.

Try it with a setting of "1" and see if it flushes.

Besides what DanC said, are you able to fetch workunits? Since I am behind a firewall, I had to play with the "uuehttpmode" setting to get it to work properly.

Good Luck

Yes... but did you reduce the number? Right now you're telling it not to flush unless it has at least 100,000 blocks...

reduced it to 1, i dial out to fetch blocks. Our firewall is a pain in ass to get through.

Try changing your connectivity=lurkonly to online. Now that my proxy isn't on my ICS machine, it won't detect the connection unless I've got it set to online. Just a thought.

it began yesterday, i think it has to do with netzero software. It manage to hose up my connections some how. ICQ wont even work... 🙁

I am going to trya real ISP in a minute here.

ahhh... the plot thickens...

I'm wondering if port 2064 is the problem with them.

Adul - have you tried proxy80.teamanandtech.com or proxy23.teamanandtech.com? Those are pproxies that listen on other ports than the defualt 2064 - you'd need to change the port settings too of course.

i borrowed a regular Dial up account from a user here. Guess what it works like a charm. Netzero has denied me!

Oh well, I can use this person acount to dump blocks while she is at work, so that is cool 🙂

thanks for the help anyways guys.

OMG!! 🙁 I was wondering why one of my very remote clients no longer was checking in. The machine it is on uses Netzero for it's ISP. ARGH!! Well that pretty much shoots that client dead. 🙁

Edit: Adul, is this the first time you have noticed it? Did it do it a week ago? Why I'm asking, is because I haven't seen my remote client connect in over a few weeks now.

Brad..

You (both) might try using an older version of the D.Net client/proxy. I know they changed the networking for the client recently; I assume they did the same for the proxy. If that works, D.Net will want to know, as they were trying to make the networking work through such things, but were worried about bugs.
