my poor celermine....

Wow. For all of you out there that don't believe Intel makes good shiznit, let me tell you somethin else. I kicked my celermine 566e up to 937mhz on a 110 bus. For some reason, when I try and set my stupid iWill for 1.7 volts I get 1.9, 1.75 = 1.95, etc....I think it's got a blown capacitor or somethin. However, 1.65 and under does not have this prob. My ASUS p3-bf's bios reads the voltage as about 1.92 at the moment, and I'm using a Gorb cooler. It runs around 120 degrees F and I've yet to run into stability issues, although I have little uptime on this setup. I would like to know if any one out there has killed their celermine from 1.9v. Thanx!!

well i have a 566 at 951mhz using 1.95 v and no crash, just make sure u have excellent cooling to cool the monster down...it will be fine...dun worry about the voltage if u have fine temperature and stable after long hour of full load...like mine for 48hrs++ of seti@home...i have a selfmade dual heatsink and dual fan, third casing fan blow on them...

last i like this chip so much....

Mine is at 850 1.65 volt stable with standard fan/heatsink. Maybe I should buy the Golden Orb and some thermal compound and see how high I can go.

I think 1.65 volt is pretty good for a 566@850?

mine's retail, and does 850@1.6v flawless, w/ golden orb. It will do 954 also, and I've posted higher, but I'm a little bit ansi about cranking the voltage anywhere above 1.9, that's murder on the chip as it is, but the way I figure it, it won't be serving me for that long of a period of time anyway, so might as well get the most out of it. However keep in mind, despite all cooling, the effects of high voltage (sounds like an AC/DC album lol) do more to your cpu than just heat. The way I see it, you have to take into consideration how long you'll be using the rig. And don't let it go above 50 deg C, it'll hump you good.
