Pushups, pullups, situps, and lunges are the core of any exercise routine.
Running, swimming, and biking are good to develop the heart and lungs.

Work out like a maniac. Run/walk/crawl (whatever you have to do) at least 2 miles and then go hit the weights. Target muscle groups. It's what I did when I was in HS and I NEVER worried about what I ate. When you're expending that much energy on a daily basis then everything's just fuel for the machine. It's a different story now because I like to sit on my ass and post on internet forums.

Forget mild workouts... 6 foot 7... just get huge. If you eat right you probably wont even need to go to the gym much to lose excess fat. Remember, abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym. But if I were your height I would wanna get jacked and just scare people all day. Hit the weights; curls, bench, pull ups, push ups ect ect... Start doing squats too, they will help your entire body gain muscle faster. Big legs are the biggest help in losing fat and gaining muscle.

I have a different problem.. been 155 since i started goin to the gym but can now bench twice what i could when i started so Im pretty much at the limit for 155. Cant gain wait... about to go buy weight gainer 1850 from GNC. My breakfast shake will be more calories then your entire day lol...

Try telling all your friends and family about your plan and they will give you support as well as make you feel guilty when you arent sticking to it. That should help you stick to it, at least when you are aronud them.

Don't cut calories. Eat healthier. Increase the number of calories you burn by working out and exercising. You'll pack on muscle and lose the fat. 222 pounds at 6'7" is fine, so don't try to lose weight. Try to exchange your fat weight for muscle weight. Check out the forums at WannaBeBig. There's some good nutritional information there, even though it seems daunting at first. Don't be afraid to ask questions either. I've found the people there to be nothing but helpful.

wtf, you do not look like you need to cut down that much on intake... unless you mean you eat like 4000 calories a day and need to cut down by 1400... just go to the gym and workout out. Simple solution... it's just difficult to keep it going :)

Read "Fastfood Nation" and watch "Supersize Me" that oughta scare you straight. Just remember your goal: Health. You can't possibly reach that goal with McDonalds and Burger King...

I have fastfood nation. A good read. However, it did not scare me away from fast food. I have yet to watch supersize me, but the point he's trying to prove I already know. I just don't care enough.
