My Plan for Iraq / The Tsunmai Disaster

Dear Mr. President,

The time has come for our troops to leave Iraq.

It is fortunate that they are located so close to an area of true need.

Please tell the people of Iraq it is time for us to go and help those in need most.

Send the troops to help the people afflicted by the tsunami.

Not only will you force Iraq to take care of its own business, but our soldiers will be life savers.

Thank you

A concerned American.

Does anyone object to this? If so, why?

Yes, but not for the reason ATPN think I'll say. Our troops are not slaves - they have their own families to take care of - wife trying to make ends meet; kids who need their father figure, etc. Go ask the nations that did not help us in Iraq go to the Indian Ocean.

In my opinion, as well as the Bush administration's and Senator Kerry's, it is not time to leave Iraq yet.

Our troops are not currently equipped to do much other than overburden current housing and food supply woes. Not every soldier is a handyman, and the engineering divisions that do exist have their hands full as is.

We cant leave Iraq until they can secure the country on their own, this is what 1200 American soldiers who died fought for in Iraq. We must not fail them.

We cannot leave until the job is done.

That's an idiotic idea quite frankly. If we leave Iraq it will be ruled by Al Qaeda...is that what you want?

Oh, and let me add...Fvck Iraq....We shouldn't have been there in the first place. Anyone who thinks we're more secure after invading Iraq is full of it!

it will tarnish America's image further. if we pull out it will appear to the world that America lost, the terrorist thugs won. thats why we cannot even think about pulling out at this point

America has already lost by going to Iraq in the first place.

They are helping out more then us right now. The reason why most nations did not help us with Iraq, it was not a tragidy and most of the nations don't rely on it nearly as much as we do ... hense most nations don't have #1 sales as Trucks and SUV's V8 mind that don't even make it over 18 MPG. So go ahead and drive around your hummer in pride knowing that people are dieing around the world for your greed.

Lazy Americans.

Ruled by who? Where are the terrorist? Come to my door. Meet my new little friend. Yeah that's right... He only will take your head CLEAN off with one shot.... And not to worry, if I somehow miss with a 10 gage it's a double barrel... 😉

People? Iraq isn?t going to FLY over here to RULE you?. Far From it. Bush has your mind warped again?

I guess you?d rather tell your kids that the BIGGEST disaster in history went down to 200K people because we didn?t send anyone over to help out to clean up the dead so twice as many died?

By the way the link to mail the higher ups... Hope someone cares...

Thanks Gopack

Seems like a good plan to me. Congrats on seeing Iraq for what it is, a lose-lose situation. Time to pack up and move out.

What exactly did 1200 American soldiers die for? Your post is very vague.

Our national security, our ability to continue our American way of life, and for stability in that region of the world. I thank them all for their sacrifices.

I thank them also, but Iraq had little to nothing to do with our national security, except that it has probably lowered our security by invading that shithole!

I believe that Iraq is a strategic location for the largest military base in the Middle East. It borders Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. And the Iraqi's will finally be able to sell their oil on the open market and profit from it. It is my hope that those profits will make Iraq a better place which will in turn give hope to the other M.E. nations to align themselves with us.

#1 - see post above
#2 - we need oil to continue our American way of life
#3 - if it threatens us, then it becomes our problem

#1 - Iraq wasn't a security problem for us. BS
#2 - We may need oil for now, but it's bullshit to just think you can walk in and take it
#3 - Iraq wasn't a threat. See #1.

We need to send your blind ass to Iraq and let you fight for YOUR American way of life. I bet you would just love it!

#1 - Iraq borders Iraq, Syria, and Saudi Arabia
#2 - We are not taking anything - the last time I checked, oil was almost $50/barrel. We are allowing the legitimate Iraqis to sell their oil on the open market at a fair price.
#3 - See #1

And if you don't like it - then stop using any oil product in your daily life. Oil is our lifeblood.

#1 - Yes, Iraq does border Iraq. Syria isn't a threat and we'll never do anything to SA because we LUV them so much (even though the 911 bastages were mostly from SA).

#2 - OK. Not sure of your point there! 😕
#3 - See #1 again.

I don't like it. How about let's spend the fvcking 200,000,000 to start developing something other than oil. The best security long run for the US would be to develop (and maybe sell) it's own renewable energy. Fvck the ME and their (your?) oil. I would pay $5.00 a gallon for an American MADE fuel and let the Arabs eat their fvcking oil.

How about you go and fight for your oil? eh?

Al Q is nonexistent, quite your blasphemy. I hope Tsunami will hit Texas as well so it will teach retard Dubya a lesson.
