You argue under the premise that in order for someone to know what is decent, they must be able to create something decent. That's a terrible assumption. Your "portfolio" needs work, plain and simple; I've created similar effects just from Phong's tutorials: www.phong.com.

When people want to look at a portfolio, they want to see something they can't do - it's that simple. Looking at yours doesn't give the same sort of inspiration that looking at Phuz's (or a number of other resident artists') material does.

at first you write that I should care not only about those opinions of people who know what they are doing in ps, but people who don't know how to do anything in ps.

then you state

so now you are saying that whenever someone who looks at my ps work who doesn't know anything about ps, wants to see something he doesn't know how to do.


What the hell is that suppost to mean anyways? If i'm asking the people who want to see something they can't create, then i'm asking the educated, and by your previous quote you say that asking the educated isn't a good thing to do.
