look who cares, i'm hear displaying my ps work, if you don't want to view it, fine, leave?

I've added lots more stuff since then, and this is probably my second or third week using photoshop, first two, I used it like 10 min. a week, and now I am going to stick to it. Why can't I come back if i'm banned, I thought you only weren't suppost to have many accounts, well I have only one that I can use. If the mods want to ban me fine, though I dont' know why I was banned in the first place. I can understand that texmaster guy getting banned, he was pretty bad threatening people, but banning me for taking offers on dreamcasts is rediculous on it's own. I won't deal with the for sale/trade forum anymore.

I'm guessing about 14 years old.

If you clearly read the forum rules in the For Sale/Trade Forums, they clearly state that you cannot have auctions style threads (IE - accepting monetary offers).

And about your PS work: anyone can use PS filters - try something original, and work on your style. If you ever want to break into the graphic design world, make something that is pleasing to look at. I think that you need to take some PS classes, since teaching yourself isn't helping very much.

You've been using tutorials to do those...like the water thing, and the lightning...the other i didn't get to see, because you put them on a crappy host.
I know that the water is a tutorial, because I DID it 3 days ago. I'll have the link tomorrow (have it in a log at school).

Tutorials are something I need more of, if you have any, send them this way.

lies! all lies and deception!

You're full of it, yo. You didn't perfect those rendered lightining effects yet still NOT learn how to make a ballanced contrasting image in the process.
(That logo of yours with the rock texture.. I learnt that tut back in the day from PHONG.)

All I can say.. is don't quit your day job. I dare you to take this thing you call a portfolio to either here or here, post it, and see if you feel like being so arrogant about your "mad skills".

dood shut the hell up, you only sound stupid when you talk. Rock texture, no, I intended it to be like gold, besides, it's real easy effect to do, almost as easy as lightning.

If I had tutorials, I would be better, im gonna go look for more tutorials, the ones I found most of them are like sketches, and then coloring and using smudge to make ultra realistic imgs. For that you have to be an artist more than a designer.

phuz, i'd love to comment on your skills, and no where did I write "mad skills" my first post stated that I am novice and starting out, and I think my progress is great for my first weekend concentrating on photoshop.

I don't even understand what you mean by the contrast stuff lighting effects, are you insulting me or what? Cause, I didn't do any tutorials for that or most of my work, I have come across a few but they were to hard, or atleast expect one to know certain things. I have come across a few helpful ones, and I will continue to look for ones that I can use until I progress further.

Are you a novice at common spelling and grammar too?

Maybe if I wrote one line like you, I would care about punctuation and spelling.

Man it's hard to pay attention to these things when you type 102wpm.....

Why do you have two AT accounts? Not trying to get your batman underwear into a bind, just curious that's all.

Secondly if you want someone to take you seriously you should have your own website. Can you afford $19.95 for 1 year's worth of hosting with your own whatever@casiotech.com e-mail address? If so, PM me and I'll send you a URL to sign up for at dixiesys.com (it's their eBay special which I don't believe is displayed on their main website).

BTW - The name CasioTech makes me think of cheap $10 Casio watches although I own and love my Casio GShock watch :D

Hey, I was just giving you a little tip so you could at least look serious in this discussion. It's great that you want to learn PS, but after limited usage of the program, please don't say that you already have a portfolio. You asked us for our HONEST opinions, and so far, the general consensus is that you need a lot of work.

Life sucks, and as of right now you suck at PS. I think it's time you stopped chasing this idea that you're a l33t designer, and take some classes. Maybe by then, you'll REALLY have a portfolio, and not a collection of 5 minute doodles.

BTW - I'm expecting a reply of at least 102 words in 1 minute after I click this "Reply to Thread" button. Start your engines, buddy!

Damn, everyone in here needs to calm down a bit....

CasioTech, obviously you aren't going to get any constructive or pleasant criticism from this crowd, so I'd suggest you take a leave of absence. I'm glad you are proud of your Photoshop work, but the internet brings out the best and worst in people. They loose all inhibitions and will say things that they wouldn't up close and personal, as you can see in this thread. Perhaps next time you could post to a more appropriate source, such as a graphics design forum. Do a search in Google and you should find a few.

As for the rest of you, why waste your time with such stupid conversation? Don't you have better things to do? :)

yeah, your right, most of the people here are dumb fuks, the only person who I will take any insults from would be lord maul, and that's b/c he can back it up, as for the rest of you, you don't even know how to us ps, most of you just want to bring me down to your level.... losers..... b/c you will never amt. to anything in life, but that's besides the point, most of you just have something bad to say about my work, b/c I have the balls to put my stuff out on the net for critisism. All you say is look how fast and crappy his work is, look at his use of filters, lmao, you don't know anything else but that, b/c that's all you guys use in ps.

cyberian, who the hell brought you here? You don't even know what photoshop is i'm betting.

your right, maybe I should post this in a graphics forum, b/c no one here knows anything about graphics. Except lord maul. But he's homosexual.

If youre looking for tutorials, pick up a photoshop magazine.
They always have a few good tutorials in there and they go step by step.
