I've had my Digital Rebel for a little over a year and didn't really feel like i was getting the most out of it, so over the last month or so I've been trying to take and post a photo every day. It's turned out to be quite a bit more difficult than I would have guessed, between living in NoVa (lots and lots of concrete) and my working hours, there aren't a lot of photo ops. I just figured I'd share what I had taken so far, and get some comments/critiques back from you guys.

edit: Well I have taken some of your advice and redone the blog. I added new navigation and an archives section...still under construction though. If you have anymore comments I'd love to hear them.

i didn't go through them all, but there is some great work in there.

i love the tractor with the overgrowth - very rustic feel.
 
Maybe put some text on there...that is sparse to say the least..or center the pictures


basically get rid of all that empty space or divy it up around the photo

Yup. We were in Manassas on Sunday. We registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and went to Regal Cinemas to see RotS. 🙂
 
awesome work, cant tell whch are photoshopped alot of the time so either you are really good or you have mixed in real photographs.

Not bad, your compositions seem to be centered on all shots. Try using the rule of thirds to make the photos more interesting.
