Verizon XV6800 (Sprint Mogul) which is brand new. Have the standard 1500mAh battery which is supposed to be 14 days of standby time and 5 hours of continuous talk time. Initially the first few days I saw good battery life but now I'm seeing a full charge drop 40% in a work-day of near-zero usage. In other words, I had a full charge yesterday morning and 24 hours later it's down to 20% left.
It's on "sleep" which is basically leaving the phone on with the screen completely off. I am getting 0 bars even though calls are coming through okay everywhere in the house. My old Treo (also Verizon) used to get at least 2 bars everywhere in the house. Is this the primary cause of the battery draining? Other factors?
Do "running programs" (Windows Mobile 6 thing) affect it? Nothing related to media is running. In fact, I've kept the list pretty empty. No programs other than TCPMP player has been added but I have not used it and it's not running.
Bluetooth, wifi, and beam are all off all the time. The battery drain has been consistent over the last 3 recharge cycles.
