my philosophy professor told us something interesting today...

well, this philosophy course is related to transgendered issues... and throughout the whole semester we would discuss topics such as classification of sexs and if trangenderism is morally wrong, etc.

today, during the last lecture of the course... our professor told us she was a transsexual.... she was born a male and got surgery to become a female....😵. it was a pretty big shock to me because i could never have seen this coming. i mean, she looked a little dykish, but never expected her to be a transsexual.

hmm...i hope i didn't say anything in class that offended her in anyway during our class discussions...

Since philosophy classes are supposed to encourage free thinking and the fact that it was a class focusing on transgendered issues, I fail to see the problem here. Is being transgendered illegal where you live?
