My pee smells like Coffee

I just took a leak after drinking a large cup of coffee, and it smelled just like coffee!! it was gross, has this happend to anyone else,?

Well it isn't kidney failure but drinking caffeinated coffee a lot isn't great for you kidneys. Try throwing in a glass or two of water, you'll be amazed and how diluted something with water....yes ever your urine....will make it smell less not too mention doing your kidneys a favor. No, I'm not a doctor but I do play one online sometimes.

Actually I notice this as well... it isn't like I purposely smell my own urine but when you're standing there BREATHING, there is a noticable odor after drinking coffee.

I never thought much of it.

I dont drink coffee so I can't say I've smelled that
