Or when using a peltier cooler.Came to say this. You've got pretty-much the same radiating surface area and CFM as you would without water cooling. The fans are closer to the outside of the case and the sound is louder. Lose.
Water cooling only makes sense if you have some MONSTER external radiator and you can use less active cooling.

I have always wanted to do water cooling but it didnt make much sense for me. my main problem is heat - I have a small room with my PC and the PC heats it up significantly, in the summer its particularly annoying. So if I got water cooling it would be dissipating the same heat in a different way. Id have to have the radiator in another room or something for it to help.
