Hi, I really need your help, about 8 months ago i built my own computer. A while back my computer started just shutting off randomly, like if I was playing a game or looking at web sites, or even if i wasnt using the computer it would just shut of with out warning, like some one pulled the plug, and then it would restart all by its self. Do you guys have any idea why its doing that?

this happened to me when i had a cheap ECS K7S5A mobo.. also, if you have a spare power supply try that out.. but my fingers point to the power supply or the mobo... and yes, give specs as well
 
Good gracious I had an ECS mobo and that thing reset on me all the time. One time I was writing a paper it suddenly restarted. I started screaming but then WORD saved my document automatically 😀 LONG LIVE AGP!
