I'm in priviledged position cause we came from hell and we worked our ass off in this country to finally get something good. Most people don't have the slightest idea what its like outside the USA. And yet they dare insult me about it.

And i didn't complain to them. I just looked at the phones and told them that i'm fine with keeping the one i have. Truly i really want one, but they will not know.

I tell you why I think you are whiny. I am struggling with making house payments, a wife who may have a brain tumor, no money for christmas for my 3 year old son, I have been shot, stabbed, I have degenerated disk in my back and nerve damage in my leg because the bones are grinding on the nerve. I have no vehicle because some arsehole rearended me and totaled my truck. And all you do is complain about a phone that you can't get because your mom complained about it.

No matter what your problems are, there are always people out there whose problems are greater than yours. So yeah, your "I didn't get the phone I wanted" whine sounds like s spoiled rotten little brat throwing a tantrum to me.

I feel for you man, but thats not a reason to overjudge me. Being whiny is if i went up to them and cried about it and annoyed them. But no, i kept it to myself that i want one. I'm just sharing here that i wanted one now as the holidays come in. And it wouldn't have cost them anything. But it doesn't really matter to me.

No i never told her. I asked her if she wanted to switch plans so we all get better phones for the Holidays. She yelled at me and said no. She told me that if we switch plans, they are gonna rip us off. I told her ok and the next day, my dad changes the plan.

I don't really care. Its just a "desire" to have one that now doesn't matter. Whats so bad about wanting something? Even poor people dream to drive ferraris. I never had a cell phone untill a year ago. All my friends did, but i was just an immigrant and never really cared. And i don't care now. It was a small wish i had to possess a flip phone.
