The install should be around $400, plus the door, if no extra work is required (cutting siding, flooring, fixing rot etc is all extra), depending on the market. How much are you looking to spend? HD and Lowe's both do Thermatru, which are very nice, but they're not cheap. Jeld-wen is decent for smooth doors, but their wood grain doors are garbage until you go to their custom line ($2k+ for nothing fancy from that line). Lowe's does Pella, Benchmark (lower-end made by Thermatru) and Reliabilt.
We did a Jeld-wen Architectural fiberglass but stained ourselves due to the price (didn't come out great, but fine). These things get way up there. Therma-Tru can be $7k if 2 sidelites too... kinda crazy, but their designs are nice. Can't say the same for Benchmark or Reliabilt. At any rate, I wanted to mention Windowrama beat out Lowes/HD for what we wanted... give them a look. You can haggle there. Also, HD does semi-annual(?) sales on windows/doors... wait for it if you can.
