You're 20 and still living at home with Mommy and Daddy? 😕

wait, so i should be stupid, and rent an apartment, of which the money i spend, i will never ever ever see again?

Relax, I'm just busting your balls. 😛

I moved out of my parents house when I was 18 and rented a 2 bedroom apartment with a friend of mine (actually, it was the upstairs of a 2 story house that was converted into two apartments really). I think it cost us all of $200/month each.

Edit-So, are you still drunk?

it all depends upon where/whom im with. if im with ppl 21+ he doesnt care, if im drinking with my friends who are 18 or so, he does, especially when my friends GF, who is 16, is there he gets really pissed off. i just cant ****** stand their double standards, he drank when he was a kid, before he was 18, let ppl he knew, got ppl he knew drinks, etc etc. and yet because im his kid its different.

I imagine it's always different when it's YOUR kid. When I have kids I'll do everything in my power to keep them away from some of the stuff I've been into. Does that make me a hipocrite? Maybe but I don't care.

I'm not sure about the law where you live but I think you can still get stuck with contributing if you're the oldest person present and you get caught by the five oh. That and the common-sense factor drops more rapidly with younger people who are exposing themselve to alcohol than older (legal drinking age) people IMO. He could have a good reason for not minding when you drink with the older crowd as opposed to your younger friends is all I'm saying.

Start smoking pot and telling them you prefer that since it's also illegal. I bet you can get them to stock the fridge with beer. 😀

If I were them I'd just kick his ass out if he said that. Are you really that spoiled?

You're 20? Move out.

Yeah but he should think long term instead. Does he have a high enough paying job to pay for rent, gas, insurance, groceries, clothes, internet, tv, electricity and pay for college? By staying with his parents he doesn't have to worry about most of that stuff. I know there is pressure in America to move out as early as possible but sometimes, it isn't the best option.

If they let you drink in the house, that's one thing. If you do it outside the house, they shoudl turn you in to the cops.
