UPS is the most worthless delivery company on the earth and their employees are the laziest, rude fucks I have had the dis-pleasure of meeting, package to wrong address, left in the snowbank on the side of the house, one time it was left at the end of my driveway !

FED EX -DHL has always done me right.....():)

Fed ex left my Ibanez rg350dx on my the front step of my porch. There was a hole in the box and it looked like someone took a bite out of my guitar. I watched DHL throw a box into my neighbors backyard.

They all suck

I deal with UPS quite a bit at my job. Here's the reason why your tracking information is out of whack, UPS recycles tracking numbers. Usually they remember to wipe the data from the old package but sometimes they don't wipe it entirely. It happens more frequently for us because of the sheer amount of business we do with them on a daily basis. We're talking multiple trailer loads on a daily basis. If you give them a call they should be able to pull up the correct tracking data for you.

Why the fuck should they recycle tracking numbers?
Isnt it a letter followed by 12 numbers? Are we honestly supposed to believe they've delivered trillions of packages?

Well here's the thing about the structure of UPS' tracking numbers that should be explained. The way they're setup the first seven digits act as an account number for the company that's shipping the package to you. For example every time newegg ships you a package the first seven digits of the tracking number will be the same. However tracking numbers can be up to 25 digits long so that still allows for a fair amount of variation, especially if they use letters. Why they recycle them though, I don't know. I just know that it happens.

I like USPS. My packages always get to me quickly, cheaply, and in 1 piece. UPS destroys everything they touch, and they charge a premium for their custom "hands on" service :^S
