Currently have 4 500gb hdds in my htpc. No more space available so I now have on order a 6 bay external sata hdd enclosure and another 2 500gb hdd on the way. I'm going to slowly fill up the enclosure as needed. Filling it with all 500gb hdds will give me 2.79 tb or 4.2 tb with 750-giggers. :)

That's alot of space.. I was adding hd's but I couldn't stand the excess noise so I just started burning DVD's.. Nothing I tried eliminated the noise enough.. At least not for the $$ I wanted to spend..

Maybe come up with a media server you can put in a closet (or somewhere out of the way) and network it to some sort of hub you can put in your enterainment center?

That's a lot of space...

What other components do you use for your htpc, i.e. cpu, mobo, case, etc.?
