Ditto and if there was a Emoticon for a salute I would use it here.:cool:

We all owe him a few beers.

Hopefully he supports what we are doing over there and knows he has a purpose in the history of the world.

Shame so many people are against a good thing.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I have to respond to this.

Removing Saddam is a good thing, but that doesn't mean that one cannot justify opposing the war on many different issues surrounding the war. To state that people should be ashamed of their opinion is rude (although, everyone who is not well informed on the issue and yet forms an opinion should be ashamed, this applies to both sides). Also: Link about wrong impressions

As for the original post, happy to hear your brother arrived home safely... wish others could say the same.

Apparently the marines were as deceived as the average American.

You think that's written in proud defiance or frustration?

They where pulling out and wanted to leave something.

Sadam may have not been involved with 9-11 but do you think that he wouldnt have done it if hehad the chance?
I wouldn't think so because he wouldn't want to deal with the wrath of the Americans. Funny thing though, he ended up getting his ass whooped anyway over some WMDs that he didn't even possess. I am glad that your brother wasn't killed by one of those Iraqi's he was saving from Hussien.
