Gk104 is 294mm^2, Tahiti is 352mm^2, Gk110 is 551mm^2. I would consider Tahiti to be equal level of GK104, they're almost identical die size (you could also say the difference is due to 384 vs 256 bit bus).

GK104 is equally as "high end" as Tahiti, GK110 is not even close to being a Tahiti competitor.

It's perfectly logical for nv to lock and neuter the cards because everyone doesn't do that. M'kay.

That's probably the lamest excuse I've seen trying to defend the neutering.

I never said I'm using LN2 but also I never said I'm overclocker. Not for everyone doesn't do that but for still able to destroy card using MSI Afterburner or other tools.

Well yes, Titan and Tahiti are completely different GPU's made for completely different applications? Nvidia never intended to launch Titan ASAP, they were waiting for all the trickle-down crippled GK110 chips.

I see no Nvidia conspiracy in this case.Nvidia ,as annoying and irritating as they are to me ,sure know how to market their products.
