Ahhh, I guess it's ok if you are used to that resolution. I am used to 1600x1200, so SXGA+ or UXGA is my only option.

Well it's my first laptop. I guess I can stand and hang with it for now. I'll just save more $ and pick up a better deal next time.

Can I cancel the order if it's being put together?

I assume you ordered a Dell? I was told when I ordered mine that it could be cancelled all the way up until it was shipped from the plant in Taiwan.

Also, you can send it back when you get it. You will have to pay shipping though.

Should I cancel and wait until I have like $2,000.00 saved up? My gf bought this for us and she had a credit line of $1500.00.

What do you think? And do you know the process of cancelling this order?

If you are talking to me, I'm used to 1600x1200 on dual 19" CRTs.... I have a 15" SXGA+ on my laptop.

BTW, it probably won't actually ship from dell for 3 days, since the boxing stage of production, for a laptop, means its being shipped from the phillipens to Nashville for final packaging and then it ships.

If its already gone through boxing, ignore me please 🙂

actually its not too much higher DPI than what i'm running right now (1600x1200 on a 19" CRT) and i'll be sitting about half as far away from the screen, so it shouldn't be bad.
