You can sweat so much that when it dries your clothes are stiff with dried salt, as if they were over starched. It can happen while you are still running, so yeah.
Its amazing how much salt your body can store. No wonder eating a ton of salt and sitting around all day is bad for you.
tape
Do you people wear tape when you wear white t-shirts?
I swear to god, I love the "I gave up on life" look of the white t-shirt, but my nipples keep showing right through when I stand straight.

Oh god this is going to hurt for the next few days.
I hope the scab doesn't break while I am at work wearing a white dress shirt.
PSA -- never run in the rain.
What? Why would you wear tape when you wear a white t-shirt?
You would have to be buying really cheap fabric in order to have the color of your nipples showing through t-shirts.
... such strange, new, and foreign notions.
Quick parents, hide yo' kids from the interwebs! We must not expose them to such profane ideas.
And you can sell it on ebay after the race.Depends on the material your shirt is made of on whether or not it you get that kind of rub.
My recommendation is to invest in some 3M Durapore surgical tape and keep it with your running gear. I tear off 2 pieces for races. It's water resistant and won't move. I've worn it for 3 marathons in Florida.
Not sure why that's supposed to be funny. Durapore is good stuff and won't come off like Band-Aids.And you can sell it on ebay after the race.
