Yes it loads quicker than you can say SPAMMER.

Which is surprising considering it's at the Managed.com data center.

ok i got the images fixed all the menu buttons are now under 500k some were at 1kb before. the header i got to 17kb from 42kb and thats about it. basically i should have cut the load down by 2-4 times. hope fully this helps out the people on dial-up still. anyways im looking for ways to improve the site more so keep shooting me comments.

the left verticle menu will have content soon so dont tell me that it needs it or that it looks off center cause the google adds are on the right and nothings on the left.

I like it. Its not bloated and loaded quick on dial up. I dont really like the font for the news, forums etc. thing at the top but otherwise it looks great.

Quick to load, but here's a couple of things I would change:

1. The logo, is fine, but if you can make the words a little thicker, and if the back ground is an image of an out of focus board of some sort, it would be more befiting..

2. The main page might be a bit long (I know some one out there that still doesn't have a scroll wheel), so try to compact it down just a bit.

3. Put the site's nav links on top also, where it's more accessible. I know you want people to see what's on the front page before they can move on, but sometimes, people just want to move on.

4. I don't know if it's your site, or my comp that's full of trojans and such, but when I close your site... there's these pop-ups that's kinda annoying. (probably my comp).

I do not like cookies. There is no reason to have one except for a session ID and that would be for something that would require me to log in and do something.

It scares me, but I'm getting to the point where I don't really like the sight of a website unless it has ads on it. Your site may be good, I'm no judge, but it needs ads to spruce it up and take up some room.

My .02 cents.

I think you should have a different bgcolor for the middle of the page. Also, a different background for the navigation at the top would be nice. Just my opinion though.
