I must say that my new Weber Genisis Silver "B" gas grill kicks butt!!!

I recommend anyone thinking about buying a griil get a Weber, you get what you pay for and they last a long time.

And pay you will....the grill with the cover was $550.

Happy cooking!!!

Damn! I cant afford that grill. Anyone have suggestions for another grill? Maybe more around the <$200 range? I was just on bluelight and saw that george foreman's got like a grip of different grills. Hehehe.... I wonder how long he can sell those things...

I'll have to check on the grill I have at home it was in the <$200 range. I'm guessing that every garage sale will have a George Foreman grill on the table in just a few short years. Probably right next to a Thighmaster.

The Foreman is great for dorms, but thats about it. It doesn't beat cooking on an open flame.

Congrats on the new grill man, I know the feeling. Gotta run out and BBQ right then.

"Hey everyone, the grill is together, looks like we're having supper at 3!"

LordMaul, the convenience is in gas.

The weber comes with flavor bars that do a good job in reducing flames and improving flavor.

Currently the grill is rated at:

36000 BTU's with 3 stainless steel interconnected burners and 1 propane tank.

I plan on caping off and welding the 3 stainless steel tubes so they act independantly. I will then connect each tube to it's open independant oversized tank (the ones that you find behind the gas station). I will also be hooking up a Hospital grade oxygen tank to each burner for a little better burn rate.

That should enable me to cook a pot roast in a minute or two.

I guess you haven't seen these? Bluelight I meant these. I know about those lean grilling machines, I have one of those (great for grilled veggies and corndogs BTW).

Mmmm... barbecue.

Go to the Hot Deals forum and find the coupon for the free bottle of "Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce". Last night I used this to grill pork chops. Words fail me in describing <drool, drool> oh, sorry... uh, words fail <drool, drool> uh, never mind.

As a gift, I was given a Kenmore Elite gas grill from Sears. This thing is actually pretty good. I really liked my friend's Weber Genesis Platinum C, and was thinking of buying one when this one was given to me as a hiuse warming gift. To tell you the truth, I think Weber makes the Kenmore grills... so it all works out in the end :)

I love my Sunday night cookouts with my friends. Mmmmmmm Filets :::Drool:::

Just bought the Weber Genesis this spring. I got Home Depot to throw the cover in for free though. Actually crackin' a beer and cooking some chicken on it tonight.

There's a Weber charcoal grill I'm probably buying shortly -- $50 is hard to argue with. I'd love gas, but I really need to watch the money outlay right now. Also, I'd rather have a decent charcoal grill than a crappy gas grill, which is what I could afford.

Someday I'll buy one of those $3000 monsters that can double as a furnace for a large hotel. :D
