Personally I don't care for Invictas - they are kind of a love/hate watch, and though their owners justifiably enjoy them, most watch afficionados look down on them.

The thing is, the 9937 is a quality watch, but it's essentially a complete ripoff of a Rolex Submariner. IF I were buying an Invicta (which I doubt would ever occur), I think I'd save my money and get an 8926. Admittedly it has a poorer Miyota movement (the 9937 has a Swiss ETA) and mineral crystal (the 9937 has sapphire), but frankly if I were buying what I consider an imitation watch, I'd rather spend $99 than $300-350. This will sound odd, but although I think the 9937 is a good value for its feature set, it is too much money for a Rolex knockoff IMO, and I'd rather spend the same money and get something original. Hell, for that money you could get two wonderful Seiko divers.

btw, I REMEMBER THAT POEM (quote by Yeats)!

This watch would run around $450 if built up by Bill Yao - I got it secondhand in essentially new condition for $280 shipped.
