I got it instantly. But I also see how it's somewhat less-than-obvious. I like plates that make people think for a bit before the "a-HA!" comes along. That's why mine says U4IC on it. Folks usually grasp it after a few seconds of looking and then the "a-HA" moment happens.

Of course, my all-time favorite was a plate that was issued in CA some years ago (and if I recall, the DMV revoked it later). This guy put "URAPNES".

One :cookie: for you as the first person to get it. Sadly people I would have really expected to get it haven't, so high school chemistry is apparently not a guarantee.

Took me a minute, then I was like, hey, PB is on the periodic table... it's not peanut butter... It's LEAD! LEAD FOOT! Well, I feel clever, but ultimately that wasn't totally worth it...

It's definitely too much for the average person to figure out, but that's not a bad thing. The average person in this country is an idiot; do you really want to cater to them?

I can't believe it took people that long to get it.

So when did you move back to Oregon and get a new car?

Moved back to Oregon in October of 2006. Bought the Mustang in June.

you realize most everyone will have no idea and think your plate is P.B. Foot or worst something like Peanut Butter Foot.

I like it, it's one of those that takes a few seconds to register (at least for me it did). I'd venture a guess that 99% of the general population will not get it though.

I do not remember a damn thing from my HS chem class.

Then again, the last time I took chem was in 1984.

I googled pbfoot and ended up spending 10 minutes watching sexy videos on youtube and completely forgot what I was looking for.

so you're hoping to attract a lot of attention from the highway patrol.

then again...asking them to understand something like this is more of a stretch than asking the average person....
