Not sure what you mean by that. I just know that a low profile tire won't be as forgiving over rocks and rough surfaces resulting in tire/rim damage.

I mean take it offroad, and a subaru would probably do better

Why the big wheels? It's a truck not a Civic!

I dunno why, I hope the tires will handle off road conditions. May take it deer hunting this weekend if the wife will let me.

That looks like a street truck. I wouldn't dare take that thing off road.

Now if it had the TRD package with 17" wheels, that'd be another story.

it's a Yuppie Truck, but aren't all Toyota's?

I've never considered Toyota trucks to be yuppie trucks. You know what are? The Lightnings that are $30k and do 0-60 faster than most cars.

Sometime down the road when the ranger dies, I may get another set of wheels that'd be more forgiving off road. I guess I'll keep it on the road for now. :)

woot, I really like Tundra's. Last year was the switch from Fords to Toyotas for me, you'll be happy with your choice.

I'm more a fan of the Nissan Titan. Do wish someone besides Ford would use a fully boxed frame though.

Damn...
I'm still stuck with my 93 Dakota with 193,000 miles... I would love to get something newer. Towing my boat in the summer with a V6 and the a/c on isn't fun. Street cleaners pass me.

You should've bought an evo or a WRX.

what are those?

Cars. With a lot of boy racer looks and a good amount of performance to back it up. Still, if you need a truck you really can't go wrong with a Tundra unless you are towing heavy loads regularly. I owned one for almost 3 years and I loved it. Fuel economy sucks though.

I'm hoping to get atleast 16-18 mpg. Sometime down the road, I'll probably get a boat. Not a big heavy one, but one around 18 foot, don't think it'll have a problem down here in GA, no real hills to worry about.

Are those dealer rims or actual Toyota-packaged rims? Where's the Toyota symbol on them?

I like the color!

I think I read somewhere the new GM trucks are going to have a boxed frame.

I believe they're enkei rims, don't know if this particular one is available only to toyota.
