the Z66 does not have 4wd, the Z71 does. Otherwise, no real difference.

there is more than that, the suspension i believe is different as Z71 is the off road package, and you can only get teh off road package on the Z71, the Z66 is the on-road package with a different suspension tuning. The tires are also different between the 2 packages.

(my dad has a z71 04 plastic model, i like the looks of both of them.)

oo, and whoever said that thing can only fit 5, with a bench front seat, the thing will fit 6 full sized adults moderately comfortable, 4 full sized adults 2 kids no problem.

You are correct sir, I forgot about the suspension difference.

The ding thingy is only on there because we haven't finished signing the papers yet. We go back in Tuesday to complete the deal. We did late Saturday and the dealer wasn't prepared to finish the paperwork.

Hell no. There is a GI that lives in town, he has a decked out Dodge Ram duallie and lowered the thing so it's useless other than as a showpiece. Well, he got kicked out of the military or something, now it sits on the street corner with a FOR SALE sign because he can't afford it any longer, and no one is stupid enough to buy it.
 
Those things kick ass! Drop the rear glass and lower the midgate and cruise around 😀 There are storage compartments in either side of the bed. Just unlock them and open the top and voila! Toss some ice in and a six-pack. Technically it's not within reach of the driver so it's all good 😀

Yeah, when the salesman showed me the side storage cabinets at the end of the day, I about crapped my pants. Those are wicked cool.

they have drains too, so as the ice melts (it takes a while, even in the sun) the water just drips from under your car. trust me, its cool.

Actually, most of us loathe the IRS. Accountants are around because owners want to know how their business is doing and because investors want to know that the business they've invested in isn't being run into the ground.
