As I said I can't really get hold off everything in Thailand plus all the latest components are overpriced here and my budget is around 1000$ so I have to make compromises.

I did some research of what I can get here and came up with the following. Feel free to correct me because this is the first computer I build since 5 years and I didn't follow the hardware development since then.

I will use the computer just sometimes for gaming and mostly for webdesign, some photo retouching and that's it.

CPU
Intel Core2 Duo E4500 2.20GHz , LGA775, 800 MHz, 2MB

Motherboard
Gigabyte "GA-P35-DS3R" Intel P35 Chipset Mainboard for Intel LGA 775

Ram
Corsair XMS2 2GB (2x 1GB) DDR2 800 PC-6400 RAM w/ EPP

GFX Card
SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DL-DVI/TVO

### How important is a good gfx card for a dual monitor set up (2 x 19" widescreen)? ###

Harddrive
Western Digital 3200KS 320GB SATA II Transfer Rate 300MB/s 7200RPM Buffer 16MB

Case
Centurion 5 CAC-T05 Medium Tower Case, 80mm front fan, 120mm rear fan

Power Supply
Enermax "EG465P-VD FM" 460W Power Supply 20+4P

### I'm not sure about cases and power supply at all, maybe you can suggest something from this website? http://www.thanni.com/index.ph...9a88b81fe04dfc6455c18a
###

UPS (yeah we have many power outs here in Thailand)
Even though I have 460W Power Supply this UPS here
http://www.shop4thai.com/en/product/?pid=20369
can only go up to 390W is that a problem?

Any advice would be turbo awesome!

And now for all the AT Rush fans out there...

:thumbsup::laugh: > A Passage To Bangkok < :thumbsup::laugh:

"Our first stop is in bogota
To check columbian fields
The natives smile and pass along
A sample of their yield
Sweet jamaican pipe dreams
Golden acapulco nights
Then morocco, and the east,
Fly by morning light

We?re on the train to bangkok
Aboard the thailand express

We?ll hit the stops along the way
We only stop for the best

Wreathed in smoke in lebanon
We burn the midnight oil
The fragrance of afghanistan
Rewards a long day?s toil pulling into katmandu
Smoke rings fill the air
Perfumed by a nepal night
The express gets you there"

BTW, I would spend the extra 730.00 ??? to get an E4600 with the higher multiplier. ;)

Nah, you don't need that, OCing with such a high multiplier means you'll blow out the chip. ;)

The case is a good budget case and the PSU is actually quite expensive on newegg... I don't think you will have any problems.

The Enermax Liberty 400W might be better (cooler and quieter at least with the larger fan) if you can swing the extra cash. That's still plenty of power for the system you are building.

e4500/e4600 will both hit about the same max overclock so don't spend the extra for the higher multiplier.

Modular connections develope resistance over time due to corrosion.
Stick with the wired Enermax, with more amperage.

Thanks for the answers so far. Which psu is better? I'm open for new suggestions and will try to find it here in Bangkok.

You won't get corrosion with a decent model and any resistance is negligible.
