Good god!!! That thing has to be screming. How did you manage to get to Xeons which normally run at 533FSB to make it to 1000? That is one hell of an OC.

Not a big overclock at all. The trick is to get M0 stepping xeons as they are all @1066 FSB but simply "underclocked" by intel. Then, get ahold of a DH800 board, do a simple pin mod on 2.4ghz chips, and they bump up to an air-cooled 3.6ghz, which is a good 1.2ghz oc on each chip. (Same thing that people have been doing with the new P4s all this time too - and the reason intel is locking the fsb on future chips).

Oh, and best part is, you can pick up 2 chips for $199 each, and the board for $300. That all comes out to the same price as a single FX chip ;)

I seriously doubt that a game wont tax your system very soon. Try running Farcry 1600x1200 6xAA/16xAF with details all the way up. It will tax your system pretty hard.

Doom3 is another that will more than likely bring any system to its knees.

But the question is, is 16xAF really necessary? 4 is fine in my opinion unless you sit 1" from your monitor.
