I've never liked that style of sunglasses despite how overwhelmingly popular they seem to be. They look like they were styled by a person who designs Hot Wheels toys. However, this thread has inspired me to look for a replacement for my current 8 dollar pair. I'm thinking something along these lines:

Much nicer than OP's shades.

Op's shades = boy with backwards trucker's cap
Above Shades = GQ man.

I think I have that exact pair.

I used to pay decent money for sunglasses but I would lose them all the time. I just wear the cheap stuff now, I do miss the spy optic sunglasses I had.

Yeah, yeah?....well....you look tacky.

This is ATOT, If you don't have anything nice to say you shouldn't say anything at all.

This is ATOT. If you don't have anything nice to say; welcome. :awe:

I like the frame style of your glasses but have to agree that the lenses are pukey.

I wear a pair of twenty's (kinda similar) with matte black frames black non-reflective lenses. That last part is key. ;-*

The sort of person who wears that style of sunglasses typically wears long, baggy, plaid cargo shorts and tees with "ironic" and/or obnoxious expressions, like, "Shittles: Taste the asshole."
LOL...

I plan on getting some perscription Ray-Ban sunglasses

i own serveral pairs of glasses , for indoor and outdoor use, mainly i use my contacts but my favorite pair of sunglasses would be the oakley gascans in brown white or black,(hides under computer desk) whatever matches my belt and shoes is the color i go with

I have some prescription Nike frames that got damaged last summer in the heat. 🙁
Tint wrinkled up in the middle of the glass.

Anyone know any tricks to peel the tint off so I can use them as normal lenses? I peeled of tint from an older pair using boiling water, but that was years ago.

Try a hair dryer.

I think those are the Blackrocks. I have that pair. Got it 2 years ago and they are the best damn sunglasses I've ever had. Coverage is great all around and they look formal-ish.

I've tried one pair of Oakleys and returned them. Made the mistake of not getting a polarized pair and they just weren't Maui Jims... Doesn't help that 99% of them don't fit my face.
