My new SLI system was running perfect.

My new SLI system was running perfect then then I installed CA Ez Armor. The computer automatically restarted and then as soon as Windows started it re-started again and now will do it in an endless loop and I don't know how to stop it. Please advise.

Like digitalchris said, try to boot to safe mode. Try uninstalling the software first, if all else fails, then do a system restore.

After the Bios initializes before the Windows Logo starts start hitting F8 on the top of the keyboard.
That will bring up a list of boot options.

In safe mode just either uninstall the software or do the system restore...

It just asks which drive I want to boot from. Nothing about safe mode. Please advise.

I went hunting and couldn't find it, but I remember someone posting about having to reinstall their SATA/RAID drivers after installing certain programs. Is it definitely hitting the first Windows logo screen with the black background? Any specific error messages that fly by?

If you're not already, try using a PS/2 keyboard. As soon as your computer starts, start repeatedly pressing F8.

Ok here is what happens. It re-starts. It loads the windows desktop. As soon as the antivirus software loads it re-starts and does the same thing all over again. I am using xp. I believe I saw the same post you are talking about related to the sam issue.
I tried pressing f8 at startup and it does bring me to a boot menu. It only lists a choice of drives to boot from but nothing about safe mode.

If you're using a USB keyboard, I don't think the computer recognizes any inputs prior to Windows loading. Having read your previous post, that apparently is not a problem.

Check your BIOS and make sure that your drive that you are booting from is listed as boot first.
If it is set up correctly and you still can't boot to your OS put your Windows CD in the drive and boot from there.

You will probably have to try and fix your installation from the Windows CD menu when it appears.

It sounds as if the program corrupted your initial files for the OS.

I am not all that familiar with the XP repair console. If you are in a similar situation as me (and, since this is apparently a new build), reformatting via the Repair console may be wise, but also may be unecessary.

I don't understand why I can't boot from safe mode. I went to the microsoft website and it says press f8 but you already know that result.

I just spent some time rebooting my machine, and quickly found out that I couldn't boot into safe mode, either. I went into the BIOS and found a setting under BOOT - BOOT SETTINGS CONFIGURATION called "Quick Boot". Set this to disabled, then restart. This time, DON'T press F8 at the POST screen, but press it a little later on and you'll get to the Windows mode-select screen. Hope this helps!

Yes, F8 may trigger something else (the boot screen) before it is allowed to trigger the Safe Mode menu.

Yeah, but the funny thing was that before I disabled this "quick boot" BIOS feature I couldn't get the Safe Mode menu to come up at all. The whole system boots in about ten seconds with "quick boot" enabled-- maybe I just don't have a good trigger finger. 🙂

If you get a boot menu form BIOS if you hit F8 just select the hard drive as your boot and keep hitting F8 adn you will get to the safe menu option
