From your comments, I suspect you have already made these purchases, so further discussion is probably moot, but I'll give you a list of my recent build. I'll tell you right now, my purpose for this build is probably very different than yours, but they are fairly similar.

CPU: Core2 Duo E400
MOBO: Abit AB9 Pro
HD: 250 Gb Seagate Barracuda 16 meg cache Considered: WD enterprise equal, price ruled
RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 1GB (2 x 512MB) 5400C4
GPU: OEM by Radeon 1600 256 meg (main cheapskate move, but okay for use)
Sound: Onboard HD system and low tech speakers w/S-woofer (different objectives)
Case: Cooler Master RC-534 Centurion
PSU: ENERMAX Liberty ELT500 - Same as you picked

If you haven't yet assembled and run your build, I'll tell you my impressions of mine. After a few posting problems, that sorted out pretty quickly, it's a smooth and solid performer, and since adding a 120 mm case fan in the back panel, it runs even cooler, with very little fluctuation, even running CPU Burn-in. I added the fan, mostly based on my HVAC background instincts, since the temps were already good. The tested temps improved another 6-8 degrees in all monitored areas. No big deal, but when the dust gets in there and parts start to wear, you know what happens.
Enjoy your build,
Charles
