My New Rig

First of all I would like to thank all of the helpful people here at anandtech, because they are in great abundance. I would not have been able to build such a sweet rig without you, and it is sweeet, so thank you.

My rig is in specs, along with a NEC 3500A, and other accessories. Comparing my rig to my friends, who payed much more for his, is sad. He has a 2.8E P4 with a 9600xt, and some reallllly crappy ram, and playing source on it is painful, where as it runs flawlessly on my new computer. It is nice to know I got such a great value out of knowing what to buy and how to overclock it correctly.

Please let me know what you think about my rig, and again, thank all of you.

I love it!Good oc on that Winny! How is that x700? One of the few ATI cards I have never played with.

Thanks JBDan. The x700pro is awesome, I want to get some ramsinks, because the ram gets pretty warm, and I think that once I do, I will be able to get to above xt speeds stable. I play half life 2 at 1280x1020 all highest settings 4xAA 16xAF and its pretty darn smooth, very rarely going down to 30fps

Good deal. OC that radeon! Ram sinks will give you minimal performance jumps on mem speed but its fun to do and look at lol

hahaha, yeah it does alright for that stuff, but I play games, and in games like source it really helps to have a killer system so you can smoke everyone without any choppiness
